General conditions at camping de Keralouet, Plobannalec-Lesconil

The information below sets out the main terms and conditions applicable to stays at Camping de Keralouet. The full General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Site Rules are available under “News” – “Documentation”.

• General terms and conditions

Bookings are made in a specific person’s name and are non-transferable.
No groups (clubs, holiday camps, etc.).
Family or friends’ gatherings: prior approval from the manager required (for two or more separate bookings).
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted.
Pets are permitted subject to conditions and prior approval (limited number).
All bookings imply acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Rules and Regulations of Keralouet Campsite.

• Bookings and payments

A pre-booking made by telephone, post or email may be held as an option for a maximum of 3 days. Bookings are only confirmed once the campsite has given its approval and a deposit of 30 per cent of the total cost of the stay has been paid.
The balance must be paid before arrival: 30 days in advance for accommodation – 14 days in advance for pitches.
No changes can be made during the month prior to the stay or on the day of arrival. A reduction in the length of stay is considered a partial cancellation.
In the event of a delayed arrival not notified in writing, the accommodation or pitch may be made available again the following day from 8.00 am, in accordance with the campsite rules. Cheques are not accepted for payments made on site during your stay.

• Cancellation

More than 60 days before arrival: the deposit will be refunded, less a €20 administration fee
Between 30 and 60 days before arrival: 30% of the total cost of the stay remains payable.
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total cost of the stay is payable.
All cancellations must be notified in writing, by post or by email.

We strongly recommend taking out Cancellation & Interruption of Stay insurance.

For bookings made online via our booking module, Cancellation & Interruption of Stay insurance is offered in partnership with ANNULATION MEETCH.

For bookings made directly with the campsite (by telephone, email or at reception), Cancellation & Interruption of Stay insurance is offered in partnership with Camp’In Assur by FFCC. Information and policy documents are available in the INFO – Documentation section.

• Rental accommodation

The number of occupants is limited to the maximum capacity specified for each accommodation, regardless of age, including newborn babies.

A maximum of 1 vehicle is included per accommodation. Any additional vehicle must be approved in advance by the campsite and will be charged at the applicable rate.

A €320 security deposit is required on arrival. The security deposit does not constitute a limit of liability.

Personal liability insurance is required.

The accommodation must be left clean, tidy and complete, in accordance with the check-out instructions. An end-of-stay cleaning option may be available depending on the type of accommodation. This option only covers cleaning carried out at the end of the stay and does not exempt occupants from regularly cleaning and maintaining the accommodation throughout their stay.

If the cleaning option has not been taken out and the condition of the accommodation requires additional cleaning on departure: €50 for additional cleaning – €90 for extensive cleaning.

Any damage and any missing items or equipment will be charged separately.

The campsite accepts no liability for theft or damage.

Bed linen is compulsory and is not provided. It can be hired from the campsite.

• Pitches

A maximum of 6 people per pitch, all ages included.
The package includes the pitch and 1 vehicle. Additional services and facilities, such as electricity, are available at the current rates and subject to the current terms and conditions.
A deposit of €20 is required for the access badge and will be refunded when it is returned at the end of your stay.

• Arrivals / Departures

Accommodation: check-in from 3.00 pm – departure by 10.00 am (last departure inspection appointment at 9.45 am).
Pitches: check-in at 2.00 pm – check-out by 12.00 noon.
High season: accommodation bookings from Saturday to Saturday.
Low season: minimum stay of 2, 3 or 4 nights, depending on the period set by the campsite. Any delay beyond the agreed departure time will result in a charge of €20 per 30-minute period or part thereof. If you are more than one hour late, an additional night’s stay may be charged. Any request to extend your stay must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure date and is subject to availability.

• Opening hours

High season (July-August): 8am-12.30pm / 2pm-7.30pm
Low season (April-June, Sept.): 9am-12.30pm / 2pm-6.30pm

• Pets under strict conditions

Pets are permitted only with prior approval, in limited numbers and subject to strict conditions (they are not allowed in certain accommodation types).

A maximum of one pet per pitch or accommodation unit.

Category I and II dogs, guard dogs, security dogs or dogs weighing over 12 kg are not permitted.
Pets must be kept on a lead, be vaccinated and must never be left unattended.

They are not permitted in communal areas: toilet blocks, swimming pool, small playground, reception, etc.
They are not permitted on the beaches near the campsite (prefectural decree).
Visitors’ pets are not permitted.

• Visitors

Visitors must report to reception before entering the campsite and pay the applicable fee.
Access is limited to a maximum of 4 visitors per accommodation unit or pitch, of all ages.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to visitors, particularly depending on the number of people on the campsite and in order to ensure the peace and safety of holidaymakers. Visitors must park their vehicles outside the campsite. Visitors are not permitted to use the swimming pool. Visitors’ pets are not allowed.

• Traffic/vehicles

Secure access by badge.
Traffic prohibited 11pm-7am (quiet at night).
Charging electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles from pitches or rental accommodation is strictly prohibited. A dedicated charging point with two Green’Up sockets is available at reception (additional charge).

• Swimming pool

Reserved for campsite guests.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent.
Bathing suit mandatory (no long shorts).
Shower + footbath mandatory.
Swim nappies are compulsory for young children who are not toilet-trained.
Opening hours: end of May to September, 10am-12.30pm / 2pm-7pm (subject to weather, technical constraints or regulations).

• Play area (slide)

Reserved for children aged 2 to 8, under parental supervision.

Ball games are prohibited within the campsite.

The campsite does not have a ball games area or a multisports court.

• Waste

Waste containers are located outside the campsite (after the exit barrier):
Yellow: packaging – Green: glass – Grey: household waste (in sealed bags only).

Leaving waste outside the containers is prohibited.

Refillable gas cylinders are not accepted by the campsite and must be taken to an appropriate collection point.

Camping de Keralouet – Plobannalec-Lesconil

Located in Plobannalec-Lesconil, in the heart of South Finistère, the campsite is an excellent starting point for exploring the Pays Bigouden on foot or by bike, via Loctudy, Bénodet, Le Guilvinec or Penmarch. The famous Pointe de la Torche, a watersports paradise, is also nearby.
