General conditions at camping de Keralouet, Plobannalec-Lesconil
The information below sets out the main terms and conditions applicable to stays at Camping de Keralouet. The full General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Site Rules are available under “News” – “Documentation”.
- General terms and conditions
Bookings are made in a specific person’s name and are non-transferable.
Each booking may cover only one pitch or accommodation unit per contract.
Group bookings (2 or more separate contracts), including family or friends’ gatherings, are subject to the campsite manager’s prior approval.
Unaccompanied minors are not permitted.
Pets are permitted in limited numbers, subject to conditions and prior approval.
All bookings imply acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Site Rules of Camping de Keralouet.
- Bookings and payments
A pre-booking (“option”) may be made by telephone, post or email and may be held for a maximum of 3 days. If the booking is not confirmed and the deposit is not paid within this period, the option will automatically be cancelled. The booking is confirmed only once a deposit equal to 30% of the total cost of the stay has been received. Payment of the deposit implies full and unconditional acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the Site Rules of Camping de Keralouet.
The balance must be paid before arrival: 30 days in advance for accommodation – 14 days in advance for pitches.
Any request to change a booking (dates or type of accommodation) must be made in writing, by post or email. Changes are subject to availability. Bookings cannot be postponed to the following season. A reduction in the length of stay is considered a partial cancellation and is subject to the applicable cancellation terms.
In the event of a delayed arrival not notified in writing, the accommodation or pitch may be made available again the following day from 8.00 am, in accordance with the campsite rules.
If payment is not received within the required deadlines, and following a formal notice that remains unanswered, the campsite may cancel the booking due to the customer’s failure to fulfil their obligations, in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and applicable legal provisions.
- Cancellation
More than 60 days before arrival: the deposit will be refunded, less a €20 administration fee.
Between 30 and 60 days before arrival: 30% of the total cost of the stay remains payable.
Less than 30 days before arrival: 100% of the total cost of the stay is payable.
All cancellations must be notified in writing, by post or by email.
We strongly recommend taking out Cancellation & Interruption of Stay insurance.

For bookings made directly with the campsite (by telephone, email or at reception), Cancellation & Interruption of Stay insurance is offered in partnership with Camp’In Assur by FFCC. The document is available in the “News – Documentation” section.
- Rental accommodation
The number of occupants is limited to the maximum capacity specified for each accommodation, regardless of age, including newborn babies.
A maximum of 1 vehicle is included per accommodation. Any additional vehicle must be approved in advance by the campsite and will be charged at the applicable rate.
A €320 security deposit is required on arrival. The security deposit does not constitute a limit of liability.
Personal liability insurance is required.
The accommodation must be left clean, tidy and complete, in accordance with the check-out instructions. An end-of-stay cleaning option is available, with the applicable rate depending on the type of accommodation. This option only covers cleaning carried out at the end of the stay and does not exempt occupants from regularly cleaning and maintaining the accommodation throughout their stay.
If the cleaning option has not been taken out and the condition of the accommodation requires additional cleaning on departure: €50 for additional cleaning – €90 for extensive cleaning.
Any damage and any missing items or equipment will be charged separately.
The campsite shall not be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of guests’ personal belongings, except where the campsite is at fault or legally liable.
Bed linen is compulsory and is not provided. It can be hired from the campsite.
- Pitches
A maximum of 6 people per pitch, regardless of age.
The package includes the pitch and 1 vehicle. Additional services and facilities, such as electricity, are available at the current rates and subject to the applicable terms and conditions.
A €20 security deposit is required for the access badge and will be refunded when the badge is returned at the end of the stay.
The campsite shall not be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of guests’ personal belongings, except where the campsite is at fault or legally liable.
- Arrivals / Departures
Accommodation: check-in from 3.00 pm. Departure is by appointment, which must be arranged at least 72 hours before the end of the stay. The latest available check-out inspection appointment is 9.45 am, subject to availability.
Pitches: check-in from 2.00 pm – check-out before 12.00 noon.
High season: accommodation bookings from Saturday to Saturday.
Low season: minimum stay of 2, 3 or 4 nights, depending on the period set by the campsite.
Returning the keys after 9.45 am or vacating a pitch after 12.00 noon will result in an additional night being charged.
Any request to extend the stay must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure date and is subject to availability.
- Reception opening hours
High season (July–August): 8.00 am–12.30 pm / 2.00 pm–7.30 pm
Low season (April–June and September): 9.00 am–12.30 pm / 2.00 pm–6.30 pm
- Pets under strict conditions
All pets must be declared at the time of booking. They are accepted in limited numbers and subject to the campsite’s conditions. Pets are not permitted in certain types of accommodation.
A maximum of one pet is permitted per pitch or accommodation.
Category I and II dogs, guard dogs, security dogs and dogs weighing over 12 kg are not permitted.
Pets must be kept on a lead at all times, have an up-to-date vaccination record and must never be left unattended.
All pets must be declared at the time of booking. Pets are accepted in limited numbers and subject to specific conditions.
Pets are not permitted on the beaches near the campsite, in accordance with the applicable prefectural regulations.
Visitors’ pets are not permitted.
- Visitors
Visitors must report to reception before entering the campsite and provide their contact details.
A maximum of 4 visitors, including children, is permitted per accommodation or pitch.
The campsite reserves the right to refuse access to visitors, particularly depending on the number of people already present on the campsite and in order to preserve the peace and safety of guests.
Visitors must park their vehicles outside the campsite and are not permitted to use the swimming pool.
A fee of €2.50 per person per visit applies. Repeated or extended visits may incur additional charges at the applicable rates, payable by the person hosting the visitors.
Visitors’ pets are not permitted
- Traffic/vehicles
Secure access to the campsite by access badge.
Vehicle traffic is prohibited between 11.00 pm and 7.00 am to ensure peace and quiet at night.
Charging any motorised electric or plug-in hybrid vehicle using electrical sockets on pitches, in rental accommodation or on terraces is strictly prohibited. Only the campsite’s dedicated charging facilities may be used, subject to the applicable rates and conditions.
- Swimming pool
The swimming pool is reserved exclusively for campsite guests and is unsupervised.
Children under 10 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult.
Swimwear or short swimming shorts must be worn. Long shorts are not permitted.
Use of the shower and footbath is compulsory before entering the pool.
Swim nappies are compulsory for young children who are not toilet-trained.
Opening hours: from the end of May to September, 10.00 am–12.30 pm / 2.00 pm–7.00 pm (subject to weather conditions, technical constraints or applicable regulations).
- Children’s play area
The play area is reserved for children under 8 and must be used under parental supervision.
Ball games are prohibited within the campsite.
The campsite does not have a city park, a ball games area or a multisports area.
- Waste
Waste collection containers are located outside the campsite, just beyond the exit barrier:
Yellow: packaging
Green: glass
Grey: household waste (in sealed bags only)
Leaving waste outside the containers is prohibited.
Refillable gas cylinders are not accepted by the campsite and must be taken to an appropriate collection point.
- Disputes
These terms and conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, and after a prior written complaint to Camping de Keralouet has failed to result in an amicable solution, the consumer may refer the matter free of charge to the campsite’s consumer mediator: Médiation Tourisme et Voyage (MTV) BP 80 303 – 75823 Paris Cedex 17 – France – Website: www.mtv.travel
The customer also retains the right to bring the matter before the competent court in accordance with the applicable legal rules.
Camping de Keralouet – Plobannalec-Lesconil
Open from April 1st to mid-September, the 3-star Camping de Keralouet welcomes you to a calm, natural environment, on a human scale and with an authentic spirit, ideal for lovers of seaside relaxation. Situated just a few steps from the Sables Blancs beach, you’ll appreciate the tranquility of the site, with no hustle and bustle, and the immediate proximity of coastal paths and cycle tracks. Located in Plobannalec-Lesconil, in the heart of South Finistère, the campsite is an excellent starting point for exploring the Pays Bigouden on foot or by bike, via Loctudy, Bénodet, Le Guilvinec or Penmarch. The famous Pointe de la Torche, a watersports paradise, is also nearby.
